Artist & printmaker.
Having trained as a ceramicist in the early 90's, I spent several years producing and exhibiting decorative ceramics. Work was largely influenced by Romanesque architecture and reliqueries, but frequently included printed elements; either from decoration scraffitoed into plaster or cut into lino blocks and impressed into the clay. Printmaking became more of a focus having joined a group of artists and printmakers/book artists locally - 'Arts Cafe' and completeing a variety of workshops and artist led community projects.
I have finally settled on Intaglio printing using a variety of techniques, though the main one being collograph printing, but also some lino-cut and drypoint.
